The Adcon soil and water temperature probe was specifically developed for measuring soil temperature at various depths. It is housed in a stainless steel enclosure and can be inserted into the ground down to 30 cm (12 in.). The sensor is mounted into the tip of the lance and is maintenance free. The probe is IP67 compliant. To protect the cable from rodents and other forms of mechanical damage the first 200cm are covered by a highly flexible stainless steel jacket.
Custom lengths are available, ranging from 0 cm for surface temperature measurements down to 100cm (39.4in.)
